(Havana city, September 21st, 1969)
...is versatile, practical and effusive.
He is always ready to unite despaired things in a same vibration of action and nerve. By late eighties and early nineties, while he was majoring in Biology, his preference for rock music led him to join local bands as drum player.
Until 2000, he was in Nu Metal Amnesia, a band that recruited him due to his strong and heavy form of playing.
From that moment on, he went to all rock festivals in the island as member of his first band, and after that as musician of the melodic gothic death band Teufel.
By 2006, he joined the heavy metal formation Rainfall, and in April 2007, he finally came to Anima Mundi.
It is important to stand out that Govín has a part time job as clerk.
His major influences are from hard rock performers, like John Bonham, Ian Paice, Neil Peart, Peter Criss and Dave Lombardo.
by Cecil Canetti.
