We Anima Mundi come back this April 2016 just in our 20th Anniversary and after almost two years of intensive and hard work, with a new album "I me myself". We like to inform you that our lead singer Emmanuel Pirko Farrath will not appear in the next Anima Mundi album and the 2016 tour due to he is now living in the USA for a long period of time. The relationship between Anima Mundi and Emmanuel stays as good as always and we both keep our eyes open for future collaboration.
After a long period of auditions looking for a new singer, and taking into account the Anima Mundi music demands for next musical steps, the band now welcomes to Michel Bermudez, a high pitch vocal trainer singer. Michel Bermudez will be recording the new album and touring with the band next summer. The voice of Michel is more into the vain of Carlos Sosa with a clear and quite high vocal reach and melodic tone. We are looking forward with faith for the best results possible with Michel and at the same time, we feel very lucky to have shared our musical journey along great singers and friends that after all had broaden the crew of our prog starship.

Wednesday 25th February Anima Mundi will have the pleasure of performing along the rock band The Dead Daisies www.thedeaddaisies.comhttps://www.facebook.com/TheDeadDaisies at Maxim Rock as part of Rock por la Paz concert (Rock for Peace) as a first cultural exchange between Cuba and USA after the reestablishment of the relationship between both countries.
"The Lamplighter, an Anima Mundi baby, delivered exactly nine months after their previous visit to the Netherlands! I know the album is a high quality recording and I know that these passionate Cubans are absolutely a high class live band."
"...it turned out that Emmanuel must had practised a lot to get the new album under control because he succeeded very well in singing his difficult vocal lines in front of a live audience."
"The mighty Manuel Govin was supported by Remco Engels (Mangrove) in the beautiful instrumental 'Endless Star' drawn on a separate drum. What had arisen spontaneously in 2012 has now expanded into a spectacular and intense drum clash."
"ANIMA MUNDI The Lamplighter: GREAT album for any PROG music fan! Very nice CD with magic artworks from famous artist Ed Unitsky invites listeners to discover the new music world..."
"Without any doubt I think this is the best album Anima Mundi has made. There is evidence of growth. The voice of Pirko Farrath is at least as charismatic as that of Sosa. His timbre is somewhat lower, but also has feeling and warmth."
"The Lamplighter appeared to be a true masterpiece..."
"...the entire album can be regarded to be one great highlight."
"The Lamplighter is undoubtedly the most accomplished album of our favourite Cuban: a spiritual quest told in two parts and two perfectly complementary moods!"
"Anima Mundi remains faithful to the sound that made them become well known and they do well. The Lamplighter is a great album."
"The album opens up the eyes and ears again towards symphonic progressiveness. Why? Because of the beauty of the album and the touching emotions that the band radiate."
"I do miss Carlos Sosa's vocals on this album. However, Farrath's vocals fit more with the new direction AM is pursuing with this album."
